Halo is a lighting concept, its main feature is the 'floating' light ring, the concept builds on the traditional idea of a side light and lamp shade, and brings it into the future with a novel light projection concept.
A V1 prototype to test the idea was made using some simple techniques. The ring created using flexi-ply, and a simple LED strip and remote control unit were placed in the base to test the feel of the product. In future I envisage shifting the light to appear projected from a frosted section.
